Welcome to Guestr. By accessing or using the Guestr platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of Guestr, including vacation rental hosts, property managers, and guests who interact with the platform.

About Guestr

Guestr is a structured intelligence system designed for vacation rental hosts. The platform provides a comprehensive knowledge base builder that helps hosts organize property information, answer guest questions, and deliver information in multiple languages through QR-driven access.

Guestr is operated by Guestr AS, a company registered in Norway.

Eligibility

To use Guestr, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Operate or manage vacation rental properties on platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, or similar services

User Accounts

When you create an account with Guestr, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Use of the Service

Guestr grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose: organizing and delivering guest information for your vacation rental properties.

You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate another person or entity

Host Responsibilities

As a host using Guestr, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring all information you provide through the platform is accurate, complete, and up to date
• Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com)
• Reviewing AI-generated responses for accuracy before enabling automated guest interactions
• Maintaining appropriate insurance and liability coverage for your rental properties

Guestr is a tool to assist hosts—it does not replace your legal or professional responsibilities.

Guest Interactions

Guestr enables guests to access property information through QR codes or direct links. While the platform provides structured information, it does not replace direct communication between hosts and guests when required.

Hosts remain responsible for all guest interactions and must ensure compliance with their chosen booking platforms’ communication policies.

Payments and Subscriptions

Guestr operates on a subscription model:

• Pricing is displayed in NOK, EUR, or USD depending on your location
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• Early adopter discounts (e.g., 50% off for 6 months) apply as stated during signup
• All payments are processed securely through our payment provider

Free Trials

Guestr offers a 30-day free trial:

• No credit card is required to start a trial
• You may cancel at any time during the trial period
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be prompted to choose a paid plan to continue using the service

Seasonal Pause Option

Guestr offers a seasonal pause option for hosts who do not operate year-round:

• You may pause your subscription during off-season periods
• Your data and settings are preserved during the pause
• Billing resumes when you reactivate your account

Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, and materials provided through Guestr are owned by Guestr AS or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

You retain ownership of the property information and content you upload to the platform. By using Guestr, you grant us a license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Guestr respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the platform infringes your rights, please contact us.

Service Availability

Guestr strives to provide reliable and uninterrupted service. However, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with or without notice.

Limitation of Liability

Guestr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guestr AS disclaims all liability for damages arising from your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of revenue, or loss of data.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Guestr reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users.

Changes to the Service

Guestr may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Guestr shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.
